Making Toy Banjos from Jar Lids - finished banjoDo you have extra jar lids laying around? You can turn those lids into a fun banjo! This is a 3-in-1, a craft/toy/musical instrument, all for free made with supplies you have at home.

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. You will need 2 rubber bands per jar lid. Double tie the rubber bands to get 4 strings.
  2. Making Toy Banjos from Jar Lids - use 2 rubber bands per lid and twist to make 4 strings
     
  3. On the back of the lid, hot glue craft stick into place.
  4. Making Toy Banjos from Jar Lids - hot glue craft stick in place on the back of the lid
     
  5. Decorate however you would like - pipe cleaners, sequins, and beads and secure in place with hot glue. Then ready to play with!
