This makes a wonderful end-of-the-year teacher gift. You could also make one for a birthday or wedding present.

Supplies:

  • scrapbooking paper
  • glass jar
  • double-stick tape
  • ruler
  • scissors or paper cutter
  • rubberbands

Steps:

  1. Cut colorful paper into 1 x 8.5 inch strips. Have each person write a message on a paper strip.
  2. Wrap the paper strips around a pencil to curl them.
  3. Create a label using various papers for the front of the bottle. Use strong glue or double-stick tape to attach the label to the bottle. Wrap rubber bands tightly around the label until it is securely adhered.
  4. Remove the rubber bands and place the messages into the bottle. The recipient is sure to love this sentimental gift!
