Moist Fruit Cake

This would be the World's Easiest Moist Fruit Cake.


  • 1 litre of chocolate milk (4 1/4 cups)
  • 1 kg. Mixed Fruit (2 1/4 lbs)
  • 2 cups Self Raising flour (use your usual flour in America + baking soda)

That's all ingredients


Soak your mixed fruit in 700 ml. (about 3 cups) of your litre of your chocolate milk overnight in your fridge.


Line your tin with baking paper or foil about 1 inch above the top of your tin, 17mm sq.

Sift your flour, baking soda or Self Raising Flour 1 cup at a time into your fruit-milk mixture and mix in well with wooden spoon then the second cup the same. Bake in your oven at 150 degrees C (about 300 degrees F) for 1 hour and a half. Test with skewer or cake tester. If it comes out clean, it's done.

Let the cake cool in the tin.

Enjoy! Oh, by the way, drink the 300ml (about 1 1/2 cups) of left over chocolate milk. If you enjoy this cake, please let me know.
