My Dog Got Parvo After Getting Vaccinated?

Has anyone else's dog ever gotten parvo after being vaccinated? Should the vaccination company be reliable for the charges to keep my dog alive?

Difficult question. Parvo is so easy to contract that even walking your dog through a room that a dog with parvo had just walked through can give your dog the disease. It is entirely possible that your dog had contracted the parvo just before the vaccination but had no obvious symptoms before the shot. At least, that is what the maker of the vaccination would probably claim.

Has your veterinarian suggested that your dog contracted parvo as a result of the shot? Unfortunately, proving your dog was infected by the vaccination can be very difficult. If you believe your dog was infected by the vaccination, you can certainly contact the company providing the vaccine to make a claim for damages.
