Ants hate the smell of cinnamon. Sprinkle some on the places where they are getting in...window sills and doors, under the sinks, and places where you notice them. This will help.
If you have the money, get some Terro syrup. It's a smallish' bottle and it comes with little cardboard squares on it. Pour the syrup in a quarter sized drop and put the cardboard where you see them. Within a couple hours, they will feed around the circle and it will look like a sun eclipse. When they take back the poison, they die and infect the colony.
Both work great.
