New Cake Pan Does Not Bake as Well as Old One?

Why does a new pound cake pan not do as good as my old one?

Your old cake pan probably has a patina from years of use. This can make it more non-stick. Your new pan will probably get there over time, just use more butter/oil and flour in your pan prior to use.
