One of my ceiling fans has loud wind sound mostly on medium and high speed. Definitely not "whisper" quiet. It is 20 plus years old and on almost constantly. Anything to try other than replacing? Thanks so much.

I'm thinking that if that has been running constantly for 20 years, it is likely worn out. I'd just replace it if the noise bothers you.
