My 5 year old Pit Bull had a tick over the summer. We had to pull the head out. We are sure we got the head all the way out. But now he has a red bump that is hard. It keeps getting bigger. And it started oozing. What could it be? It bleeds a bit too.

This sounds like an infection under the skin and maybe you didn't get the head of the tick out. You should try cleaning this, adding an antibiotic cream and covering it up so he can't chew on it. If it doesn't look better in a few days, I'd take him to the vet.
It looks like an abscess. I would call the vet and ask his advice.
Would seem that you might not have gotten all of the tick out and it has gotten infected. I would take your dog to a vet.
I would go to a vet to make sure you got the whole tick.
Use peroxide on it to clean.
