Origami Corner Bookmark ShirleyE Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 239 Posts July 22, 2021 This is a simple way of making a corner bookmark by means of paper folding.
No glue required
Younger children may need help with the folding, but everyone can have fun decorating them with crayons and stickers
Total Time: 10 minutes Supplies: 1 square piece of paper Stickers (or crayons)
Steps: Take a square of plain or patterned paper. Size is not too important. Fold and crease the square in half diagonally.
Fold in half again
You should now have a triangle like this.
Open up the paper. If you have a patterned and a plain side as in the photos, make sure the plain side is facing up
Fold and crease two opposite corners to the centre
Then fold in half in the same direction
Fold the left hand top edge to meet the centre fold
Repeat on the right hand side
Your paper should now look like this
Turn the whole thing over
A little bit of a squeeze at the edges will reveal a pocket
Fold and crease the two points up into the pocket
Your corner bookmark is now ready to decorate
This one has been decorated with stickers, but you could use crayons instead if your paper is plain.
Now you know how easy it is you can make all sorts of designs
The bookmark slips over the corner of your page to remind you where you are up to

I love the idea of this bookmark. I love to read and being disabled I am not able to do the crafts I used to do. This would be something I could do and I could make them as gifts for the Holidays and for birthdays, anniversaries and other special days for family and friends.
