Decorate your kitchen by handcrafting your own kitchen cabinet and drawer knobs or pulls. Buy plain white knobs and paint or decorate how you'd like (flower petals, hot chili peppers, gingham, butterflies, cats, green ivy, etc.) The list is endless. Then give them a coat or 2 of clear varnish before attaching to a drawer or cabinet.

What type of paint to should I use to give my drawer pulls a new look?

Remove them and spray with paint in the can. Do something different from what they are now--black or silver metallic are modern choices and go with almost everything.
If they are metal, use paint made for metal, such as Rustoleum. I had antique brass looking pulls (of cheap white metal not real brass) and I painted them with "hammered gold" Rustoleum.
