Painting a Snowman and Snowwoman's Face on Mugs?

I had a crafting magazine that had instructions on how to paint a snowman and snowlady on blue cocoa mugs. Does anyone still have this?

You would have to use permanent markers. Even then, you might have to hand wash them.

don't know re instructions but I imagine that you would use regular acrylic paints though then you would not be able to wash them without losing the paint

I looked at PPPs link and it looks like they used markers, acrylic paint, and then painted it over with an acrylic sealer. That sounds like a good way of going about it
