Permanent Marker Stains on Clothing

I got a few spots of black permanent marker on my blue school uniform. It is a cotton blend material. How can I get it out?

If you have access to ethanol (perhaps in your school's Chemistry lab), make a 95% solution (95 parts ethanol to 5 parts water) & apply directly to the stain. Rinse thoroughly with water and wash as usual. If ethanol is not available, you can try spraying hairspray directly (& heavily) onto the stains before placing uniform in the wash. Good luck!
