Every year I plant pole beans in a container. The first year I had a beautiful crop, but since then I have good healthy vines that keep growing, but do not produce flowers and therefore no beans. Why?

Do you add new soil to the container so that the bean plants have better nutrition? Could your bean plants be GMO"s? Call your local Agriculture Dept. I believe you can find them with you browser - ask them why.
