Recovery Time for a Puppy with Parvo - Chihuahua puppy I just got my puppy Crüe from the hospital about a week ago. He spent 5 days in the hospital with parvo, but we took him home last Saturday. He's been on meds and cooked meals ever since, but he's started sleeping a lot. Should I be worried ? He's been home 5 days.

If he is eating and drinking, that is ok. Parvo can take several weeks to recover from.

It can take several weeks to recover from parvo. I'm so glad he made it. Extra sleep is probably just what he needs right now.
