I'm always looking for ways to recycle and have found that some plastic lids like a coffee can lid or a raisin lid will fit over some bowls. I also save small spray bottles, which work well to put hair spray, cleaner, or other liquids in when traveling.

We give our cats one can of wet food every day, along with dry food. After the can is open, we divide it in half, and then divide that between the two of them, evening and morning.
I found that the lid from nuts such as peanuts or cashews fits perfectly on the cat food can so it can be stored overnight in the fridge.
