If this was the mistake of the printer, take them back. If you made the mistake, then you will need to keep this order. One thing you can do is find a colorful piece of fabric and print the correct phone number on the fabric. You can use a fabric glue to glue it over the other phone number. Otherwise, if a number is easy to change you can try and use a permanent marker and make the correction yourself.
Heat the mistake with your iron right on the vinyl to heat it up.Then spray goo be gone on it, can be bought at walmart.From the front of your tote and inside as well spray your goo.Let the goo sit on it for a few minutes ,then try peeling off your mistake.You will have too heat and spray it will only come off a little at a time.
This is not your responsibility. The printer must redo the order. I hope you did not pay with cash. You may be required to return the incorrect ones.
It seems this is your company's mistake or you/they would have insisted the printer correct it.
You do not say what type of material (fabric, canvas, plastic?) or what type of theme/design is on your tote bags so it is really difficult to give a very good answer as everyone is assuming they know what type of material is used but in actuality they/we do not. It does seem these are going to be used for advertising or promotion so I feel sure it is crucial to have contact information correct.
Depending on the material of the tote, you might be able to stitch over the number or add an applique.
Oh goodness, you should have them fix it free or charge :( If there's a reason you cannot, I'd cover them, not remove it.
Who was at fault with the incorrect phone number? If it was the printer, I'd ask them to fix it.
