Can anyone instruct me on how to get to the motor on the Pfaff Tiptronic 1171 sewing machine so I can replace the carbon brushes?

Did you check out YouTube? There are tons of great videos for fixing things! Twice now I have saved my aging vacuum using YouTube videos and I am not handy. I can't seem to understand written instructions, but if I can see something being done, I can usually follow along. Hope you were able to repair it. Professional repairs on the Pfaff cost a fortune where I am. AND it is hard to find good repair folks. Best wishes for an easy fix!
