Ribbon Flowers - ribbon flower in pot with succulentThis project is about making fake flowers from ribbon, wire, and hot glue. They are simple and easy to make quickly for table centerpieces and decorations that you want to be permanent.

Supplies:

Ribbon Flowers - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Cut a small piece of wire and fold a loop at the top.
  2. Ribbon Flowers - make loop in end of wire
     
  3. Put the cord through the loop and tie a knot.
  4. Ribbon Flowers - pull twine through
     
  5. Wrap the cord around the full length of the wire and hot glue it to the end.
  6. Ribbon Flowers - wrap wire with twine
     
  7. Fashion loops with the ribbon at the top and at the same time hot glue to make the loops all the way around.
  8. Ribbon Flowers - begin making ribbon loops
     
    Ribbon Flowers - add loops glueing as you go

  9. If your stem is too long cut it with the scissors or wire cutters.
  10. Ribbon Flowers - trim if too long with wire cutters
     
  11. To make it tighter hold the cord right and hot glue it to secure it.
  12. Ribbon Flowers - hot glue end of twine
     
  13. Place and display.
