Do you know any inexpensive ways to hang pictures on a wall? Framing costs are really high.

Have you been to garage sales ? Alot of them have very inexpensive frames. If you do not like the picture that is in it..take it out and just use the frame. The frames can be painted in alot of different ways. good luck !

Check at Thrift Stores, Flea Markets and Garages sales. Sometimes WalMart or even Office Depot can have some fairly inexpensive frames if they must be new. You can also find nice mats there to fit the pictures. - Sally R.

I have often picked up really tacky prints in decent frames, and then put my own picture over the print! You can find excellent prices on seasonal stuff at the end of the season -- like Christmas prints in January, for example. - Cassie

Besides Flea Markets, yard sales, estate sales and thrift shops, Dollar Stores!!! One in particular called $Tree is my favorite store for just about anything. And if all else fails, go to the lumber yard, get some quarter round & some brads. Measure, saw, nail together, or use heavy duty staple gun. Finish as desired.

Put picture on back with some kind of backing as well. Put a few brads in appropriate places. Bend some down to keep picture in, bend 2 into loops to tie some wire onto for hanging & voila! You can also use little screw eyes for the wire holders or just screw one into the top & hang picture with it. Small cup hooks can sometimes be bent almost closed for this job. - Linne Dodds
