Shafts in Bread Machine Fell Out?

The shafts in my Black & Decker bread maker fell out and all my liquids spilled out. Is there something to keep them attached to the bread pan?

Your issue is the bearing that is attached to the bottom of the bread pan that is molded and pressed into the pan has gone bad. That is the reason you are seeing the bearing grease that has come out of the machine. The part that has broken holds the paddles or the shaft into the pan so that it turns freely to make your bread. The part that has broken interacts with the motor of your machine so the paddles can turn freely when in use. The only problem you have now is the worn-out parts of your machine can not be fixed because they don't sell these parts individually so you can fix your machine.

There is a way to fix your machine and that requires you to buy a brand new bread pan to install in your machine. Once you do this the paddles or the shaft will stay in your machine again. You can not just replace the few worn out parts of this machine and must replace the entire bread pan unit.
