Simple Light Mac and Cheese

A pan of mac and cheese.Mac and cheese can be overwhelming in large portions so here is my take on a simple light mac and cheese. To complete this meal, I heated up frozen natural chicken strips and turkey bacon.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

A box of mini farfalle.
 
A plate of shredded cheese.
 

Steps:

  1. Follow heating instructions for your choice of pasta and drain the pasta.
  2. In a sauce pan - add milk, butter and dash of pepper over medium heat. Stir until butter is melted and bring to a simmer.

  4. Add pasta and combine well.
  5. A pan of mini farfalle pasta.

  6. Reduce heat to low and add your cheeses. Continue to gently stir until your cheese is evenly coated and looks ready.
  7. Adding cheese to the pasta.
     
  8. Ready to eat! You can eat alone or add other toppings.
