Does this ever bring back memories. Our school cafeteria served Sloppy Joes about once a week when I was a kid, and it was one of my favorite school meals. Made with some

kind of sauce more resembling Manwich which was ladled over open hot dog buns, it was so good, and all the kids would be so hungry. Everyone would have a clean plate when they served Sloppy Joes. I have to wonder if the elementary schools ever serve them these days.

I hear so many of the young people complaining about school lunches, and they talk about how much food is thrown away because no one can eat it today.
