Two old socks and a Swiffer floor cleaner. Worn out socks? Don't toss them. Place them over your Swiffer. It saves purchasing cloths and is great for dusting high places and washing floors.

I once had a floor wax applicator with a chenille pad. I used it damp to go over my kitchen floor every day (2 mins. max). I never had to actually mop the floor. I've been looking for something similar ever since. I'll check out the Swiffer pad and I have plenty of old socks.

I would think you would need to cut a hole in the center of the sock to facilitate raising the handle of the Swiffer. Otherwise great idea!
