Great salad instead of the usual summer salads.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped cucumber
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 bottle Italian dressing
Optional:
  • chopped broccoli (about 1/2 cup or whatever amount you may have)
  • chopped cauliflower (about 1/2 cup or whatever)
  • chopped carrots (1/2 cup or whatever)

Directions:

Cook spaghetti according to directions on package. Add the veggies that you want, after you have chopped them up. Add about 1/2 bottle of Italian dressing. Toss and chill.

Before serving, add more of the Italian dressing, according to taste. I usually use about 3/4 bottle altogether. All my family like this and its so simple to make. Enjoy!

I love the combination of veggies in this salad.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 7 oz. spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan chesee
Dressing:
  • 1 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Directions:

Cook spaghetti; drain and cool. Mix chopped veggies, Parmesan and dill. Stir together. Add dressing and stir.

Servings: 8

This salad is super yummy and great at pot lucks!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. spaghetti, broken up
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • Ad
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle of coleslaw dressing
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Cook spaghetti using package directions; drain. Let cool. Combine spaghetti and remaining ingredients in large bowl; toss lightly. Chill.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Refrigerate. This is best if made one day prior to serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 cup prepared Italian salad dressing
  • 2-3 Tbsp. bacon seasoning
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, finely chopped

Directions

Cook spaghetti as directed on package, drain. Prepare Italian salad dressing according to label directions. Add to hot spaghetti along with seasonings. Mix well and set aside to cool. Chop veggies and add to cooked spaghetti mixture. Stir well and chill. Best when made 24 hours ahead. May be frozen. Serves 8-10.

Ranch Spaghetti Salad. I came up with this when I had leftover noodles, cucumbers and fresh tomatoes from garden and since dh doesn't care for Italian dressing, I used ranch and he loved it. . .

Toss well and refrigerate. You can sprinkle grated cheese on top when ready to serve. Salt and pepper to taste.

This is easy and really tasty. You can make as a last minute dish but it is better if it sits in the fridge a little while.

Source: My sister gave me the recipe, had it at a cover dish dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 med. onion
  • 3 stalks celery (chopped)
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • small yellow jar of mustard

Directions

Chop, onion, celery and shred cabbage. Cook spaghetti according to box directions and cool. Mix eggs, sugar, vinegar and margarine. Cook until thickened. Add mustard; cool. Pour over cooled spaghetti. Add vegetables; mix well. Make the day before you serve. Makes a great picnic salad - serves many.
