When I turn off my kitchen light, the TV switches off momentarily then comes back on. This has happened intermittently since I moved into the house. Please can you advise on how to troubleshoot this?
Electrical fixtures shouldn't do stuff like this. We have an electrician, Bruce, who sometimes posts with explanations, but often he ends up with "call an electrician" to repair or find the problem. I'd guess you have some faulty wiring, which, in my opinion, means call in a professional. If this is a rental unit, complain to the landlord and get him to call in an electrician. If this is your own home, you have to handle it yourself.
