Tilly (Pit Bull Mix)

Category Dogs
Meet Tilly a rescue Pit Bull mix who enjoys fishing for seaweed at the beach and attempting to play with the household cats. She is often on the receiving end of their disinterest as evidenced by the bandage on the tip of her ear.

How and when did you get your pet?
We adopted Tilly in the summer of 2019 from a local rescue. She was actually at a different rescue in California, so she was transported up here for us to foster with the option to adopt.

What does your pet like to do for fun?
She loves water and we discovered that she really enjoys fishing for seaweed at the beach. She likes stuffed animals, but destroys them within minutes. She also loves car rides and pretty much goes everywhere with us.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
She is very interested in being friends with our cats, but she is a bit too pushy for some of them, so she frequently gets scratched for "over-loving" on them (hence the band-aided ear in the photo below).
