Toothpick as Temporary Eyeglass Screw

Did you lose the screw from your eyeglasses? Here is a temporary solution to give you time to get to the optical store. Use a toothpick to hold the arm of your glasses on, so you can still wear them. Just poke the pick in the hole and break of ends of pick showing. It works great. In fact, I used it on my sunglasses and forgot for a while that it was there. :)

You can use a very small safety pin as well.

I use a safety pin. It doesn't scratch or fall out.

A update. I still use my toothpick and it works great. Occasionally I replace it, a lot cheaper than buying new sunglasses.

Hello again. It is July 2015 and I still have the same toothpick in my sunglasses. I wear them probably about 5 times a week. So much for getting them repaired. :)
