Treating Fungal Disease on Houseplants

March 17, 2010

HouseplantsAdd one teaspoon of powdered Jell-O (any flavor) to the soil of houseplants. Then cover the Jell-O with a light coat of soil. The gelatin helps the plants to retain moisture, the nitrogen in the gelatin increases plant growth, and the sugar feeds microbes in the soil making more nutrients for the plant. I learned this from a gardening book. It works great!
