I have a Smith Corona Wordsmith 100 and the type hammer doesn't work on any keys. It just doesn't move at all. What can I do?

Make sure your ribbon is installed correctly. You can also clean the keys with denatured alcohol. This may have to be repeated several times.
I remember having this problem a while ago and made the mistake of thinking oil would help. IT DOESN'T! Don't do it! Use alcohol gently around the module.
