Is it safe to use a shop vac to finish emptying an above ground pool to get all the algae out before you refill it?

The Shop Vac website endorses it www.shopvac.com/.../opening-your-pool-for-the-season

They even suggest accessories that may help--go figure that one huh :)

Happy swimming!

If you don't want to go and rent a pump or you can't empty the rest of the water out of the pool using a garden hose, then a shop vac is the next best thing. They make a great pump and help to empty the rest of the water out of your pool.
