If you follow me, you know I like to make handprint cards for every occasion to give to family/friends (especially grandparents) as a sentimental piece. On the back you could write your child's name and year and it's just a cute piece to have for memories!
Total Time: 20 minutes
Supplies:
- construction paper
- black thin Sharpie
- googly eyes
- heart foam stickers - optional
- glue stick
- scissors
Steps:
- Trace your child's hand onto green construction paper and cut out.
- Time to pick a background color for your card, my daughter chose orange. Glue the hand down.
- Cut a brown pot with construction paper and glue down.
- You can write your Valentine's Day saying on the pot.
- Draw thorns.
- Glue googly eyes down and draw a smiley face. Then you can add heart foam stickers to make the card more of a Valentine's theme.
