Sadly, not very much, since everything is available on the internet. You might check with a used book store.

Very few encyclopedia sets still sell for very much as so many sets are available for anyone who is interested.

• Encyclopedias are values are still falling as the modern age seek information (old and new) over the Internet because it is instant and the same free information can be obtained from so many sources.

• Still, some sets still sell but are usually very slow sellers and many eBay and Amazon sellers list books and keep them listed for months and even years and may still never sell them.
• I did not find a 1964 set listed anywhere but here is the link that shows what other sets sold for (eBay).

• Here is a link to a forum where you can ask your question and someone may be able to give you more information.
• www.artifactcollectors.com/.../
• You may be able to sell your set on your local Craigslist, LetGo, or other sites and no shipping involved.
• You can ask whatever price you wish and reduce it if no one shows an interest.

As a true thrifter...I always find ways to get some value out of the seemingly not valuable.

If your intent is to sell and you are at all artsy...and don't mind deconstructing books....there are folks do well making lamps out of old encyclopedias OR deconstructing them and framing and selling some of the neater or more unusual pages.

There are so many neat things you can do with old books. When I was very, very young, my (now late) dad hollowed out an old book and that is where he kept his "valuables". Years later, I saw similar "safes" selling on Etsy for in the $15-20 range!

Hope you can give them new life and make a little extra $$$ :)
