I have done this for years, and also use it for a lotion before going to bed at night. You can pop the capsule and rub it on. This is also good for your dog/pup's paws in the winter, with going in and out in the cold and snow. It will not harm them if they lick their paws. Be mindful not to give your pet a full capsule to eat unless consulting your vet. Mine opt for the Omega Fish oils instead of the Vit E capsule. More beneficial in her old age.
