What Breed Is My Dog?

What Breed Is My Dog?I just bought my baby girl off of Craigslist as a pure Husky, but they never mentioned what kind. I do remember her saying something about one parent being half timberwolf. I'm just wanting to know what kind of Husky or Husky mix she is. We love her no matter what either way though. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

what a cute girl. If she does have some Timberwolf in her background she may need extra socializing, with people and other dogs. Sometimes these dogs can be shy. Start her with a puppy training class.

I have a Husky, the floppy ears would mean that she's an Alaskan Husky but it's hard to tell right now as she's so young. She could be a mix of Siberian and Alaskan like mine is, both are great dogs. Kind and loving but with either one never ever take her off the leash outside. All Husky's will run and not pay any attention to you calling them to come back. Most Huskies don't bark much they howl. There are some really good groups and websites for Husky lovers and owners. They also needs lots and lots of exercise. I take mine at least 2 miles a day with a scooter, a bike works good too. Her blue eyes show that she at least has Siberian Husky but some Alaskan Husky's also have blue eyes.

Alaskan ones are the dogs of choice for sledding at they have incredible speed, the Siberian's get large and they can carry the weight. They all have a mind of their own and are the most fantastic of dogs. Neither doesn't like to be left alone, they are pack dogs, you are going to be part of her pack. If you have to leave her I leave a movie or the TV on and try to have her with other animals as they can eat your sofa or other things because you left her alone. Keep a dog crate to put her in when your gone is best. Please contact me if you have other questions.
