Deodorize With Perfume or Cologne

When I get a bottle of cologne that is not to my liking, I spray the linens with. When company is coming for a special added touch to the bathroom, I spray the sides of the roll of toilet paper. The scent lasts the entire roll and is delightful when you enter the bathroom, not just some old smelly over the counter deodorant. I hate to waste anything and I believe this is putting the perfume to good use.

Just a thought, I'm not sure that using a fragrance like that on linens is a good idea, some people may not like the scent as much as you do and they are then stuck sleeping on it.

I absolutely love the idea of using it on the sides of tp roll. We have guests so often, and this is a great idea. I have to go do it right now. Thank you so much for your idea.

I like the idea of making the linens or bathroom smell nice and/or special for guests, however if I was the guest I would not be able to sleep in the bed without a change of sheets because I'm allergic to most perfumes. If the smell in the bathroom was very light, it might be ok.

Personally, if I'm having guests, I try not to use anything with a strong perfumed scent because I know too many people with allergies. I used to love perfumes & scented things, but as I've gotten older I've become more sensitive to it.

I've had to leave my daughter's house before because she's been burning candles with a strong scent that gave me runny nose, eyes, sneezing & coughing, then finally sent me into an asthma attack.

I use spray body splashes mixed with some water for ironing, also. Works great.

Here's another use. My grandmother taught me to use a cologne gift that's not to my liking by adding a little of it to my bath water. It's a great idea and I've been doing it for decades.

In some mysterious way, no matter how little I care for a scent, it always seems to smell delightful when diluted in a tub of warm bath water. Hasn't failed yet!

If I don't care for the smell of the fragrance, why would I want to use it in the bathtub or on the sheets where I couldn't get away from it?

I bet it breaks. Your guests probably hate the smell, especially if you yourself don't care for it
