Word Puzzle?

I need help with this. If you take the letters e, r, g, r, o add the same 3 letters from those 5 and add the same 3 letters to the front and back of one word, example "regituplreg". Yes, the word has to be a real word! Iit says it is a really simple word and even a five year old can say it. Anyone know the solution?
