Pruning a Schefflera Plant?

I have a large schefflera plant that needs to be cut back before I bring it back into the house. Does anyone know how do this?

Hardiness Zone: 7a

Prune your schefflera to make it fuller if you want more than one or two limbs. After your schefflera has reached the height of approximately 4 feet, prune each branch you'd like it to branch out by cutting off the end. Everywhere you cut your schefflera should produce two to three more branches. Hold off on pruning if there is the chance of a freeze. For more info search for your question, lot of info there, good luck.
