My Jordan 60+ are squeaky on the bottom of the shoe. Every time I step there is a squeak. What can I do to get rid of it?

I've been told baby powder around the soles will stop the squeak.
I had the same problem with my vans, I just beat the squeak out with a hammer and did that every time until it stopped
I pulled the insoles out and sprayed the bottom of them with WD-40. Squeak gone!
