Heated Insoles From Sun Deflectors

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 297 Posts

Make heated insoles for your shoes from either new or used car window sun deflectors. They're the ones that pop open to block the sun's heat from making the car interior too warm. Trace either the insoles of the shoes or your feet, cut them out, and place with the reflective side up under the insole.

How does that make them warm? I mean if they are in your shoes, how does the sun get to them to warm them? I don't understand this. Or am I the only one who doesn't get it?

I think the sun reflector material would reflect your own body heat back to you keeping your feet warm. This is brilliant!
