Painters Tape to Keep Flour Out of Seams

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 306 Posts

When making homemade noodles, pie crust, or anything else you have to roll out on your table, place painters tape over the crack in the table to keep the flour from being pushed down between the leaves. The painters tape stays put and does not pull any finish off your table when you are ready to remove it. I have never had any trouble with masking tape either. I do the same thing on my counter top where the corner seam is to prevent flour getting into it.
