Making Sunflowers from Inexpensive or Recycled Household Items?

Does anyone have ideas on making sunflowers from things found at a thrift shop or maybe things found laying around the house? I'd rather use inexpensive ways rather than expensive ones because I'm on a budget and can't afford to buy them new.

Brighten up any room with (6) Sunflowers made from water bottles, aluminum cans (soda), leaves are seven up bottles, stems are wire hangers. Stems are 10"- 12" long, flowers are aprox. 3.5 " across. (vase not included). Recycle art by Debbie DeSousa, 925-672-9598 www.debbiedesousa.com, Garden Good luck.
