Beartou is a 2 and a half year old dog. This wonderful dog's time had run out at the shelter where she had been for several months. She desperately needed a home. Arranging this adoption is how my husband and I along with a couple of dedicated volunteers spent our July 4th a couple of years ago.
She loves to play with toys that squeak. She absolutely loves running and playing in our backyard as well as interacting with her canine playmates. The Chihuahua is her favorite companion. This dog came to us from an uncertain background and with a number of fears and behaviors that remain unexplained. It has been wonderful watching her learn to trust us and to enjoy living a happy life.

Bless you for adopting instead of buying. Thousands of wonderful, loving dogs die each day in shelters. Everyone should support a ban on puppy mills, retail dog sales, and encourage low cost/free spay and neutering!
