I am not sure which was first, the lighthouse or the houses! At least the residents won't get hit by a ship during the night!

My husband is a retired building conservation officer (Scotland). He looked at your wonderful pic, and said the houses look fairly modern, so the lighthouse was probably a listed building when planning approval was given to fill marsh and build those homes. He thinks the sheds are on the water side, is he right?
I like the way it looks:)
