Dog Keeps Stealing My Phone?

Why does my dog take all my phones off the hook and take them into my bed and act like they are her babies? She is not pregnant. She just started doing this and crying to me all day long.

My guess is that she wants more attention from you and/or is playing with you by teasing you ;-)

Has your dog just gone through a heat cycle? You didn't say if she was spayed. Sometimes dogs that have gone through heat but are not pregnant have a "false " pregnancy.

Their behaviors mimic what would have happened if they had babies.

Not sure why your dog is acting this way, but don't leave your phones where the dog can reach them. Our dog is 85 lbs. and cannot reach the end tables, desks, kitchen counters, etc.

You might want to take her to the vet to make sure that everything is okay. She shouldn't be "crying to you all day long".

Dogs react much like a toddler or young child.
They may feel you are spending too much time
talking on the phone and not paying them
enough attention and then act out.

Have you tried petting or including your pet in
your telephone conversations with friends/family?
Can't hurt to try it.
