My favorite and most-used app is GasBuddy. I use it everytime before I buy gas. It gives you the gas prices of the stations near the place you enter so you can buy the cheapest gas available. Great money saver!

Gasbuddy can be helpful, but the price listed is often the price with a car wash purchase and not the actual price. I have checked the price on Gasbuddy several times and found this glitch. People drive by see the low price enter it and don't check that it is only with a car wash price, the actual gas price is often 10 cents or more per gallon.
