I have old bathroom cabinets. I want to clean them up to look new again.

Murphys oil soap is great. Once they are clean, you can use the same brand of stain to keep them looking nicer. If you don't have a window in your bathroom, I suggest a fan, if you don't already have one.

Wood and steam, which damages and ages unprotected wood, is a culprate. Good luck!

Try Restor-A-Finish. You can buy it for about $7 at Home Depot. When you rub it on it takes water marks and scratches right out. I used it on my kitchen cabinets and a coffee table I bought on Craigslist, which looks brand new now.
