The recipe states that it is 6 points (in the PointsPlus system) and the serving size is 1 cup.

why is this soup 6 points a cup ? when most of the ingredients are 0 points? And the minestrone soup is only 5 points for whole can ?

It does seem off but it was posted too long ago and the member is no longer active on the site. I remember a zero point vegetable soup and a taco soup version that were staples of my Weight Watchers journey back in the day. Seems like this soup should be low as most of the ingredients are zero points. There used to be a great recipe tool but they have changed the point system now.

Good luck and please let us know if you find out the correct point value for this recipe.

Thank you , yes most of the ingredients are 0 points , the whole can of soup is 6 points so how can a cup of this be 6 points? I would say 2 to 4 points at the most for a cup?

I checked the recipe through this calculator, using the values given at the bottom of the recipe.

It shows 5 PointsPlus for this soup. It is probably because of the ingredients in the minestrone soup. There are tons of zero point soup recipes online though. The difference could be the different systems that have been set up.

Good luck with your weight loss journey.
