Translation: Canning is Preserving or Bottling

Bronze Request Medal for All Time! 64 Requests

This is just a tip for non-USA residents that I have finally managed to work out! Canning, for all of us Europeans, means preserving or bottling! Not a tin in sight!

I have deleted so many tips and recipes because I was under the impression that canning meant something that has baked beans in it! Just for information only.

Editor's Note: Thanks Cett. Because we are in the USA, we sometimes don't realize the differences in terminology.

This was posted 10 years ago so it is likely that no one will see this to give you a good answer. I would submit a new question to the site so that our active members can see it to respond.

I'm sorry I don't have the answer to your question.
