Decoupaged Tissue Box Covers

I bought plain, plastic tissue holder covers at the Euro shop and decoupaged them using paper and also fabric. I think they turned out quite nicely. I painted up to 5 coats of varnish on these as they get a lot of use. I also glued on elastic bands to the bottoms to hold the tissue box in the holder.

Now your tissue boxes fit the decor... I personally think there is nothing uglier than an exposed tissue box in a lovely room. Thanks for this wonderful idea!

These are so pretty! Do you think it would work as well on a wooden tissue box cover?

To all of you who sent me responses to my decoupaged tissue boxes, a big Thank You! Those of you who have asked for exact instructions, please be patient. I have just returned from my holidays and have lots to catch up on but I promise I will post the instructions soon. They make wonderful gifts for Xmas, which is just around the corner! Lisa
