Bring water, applesauce, margarine, salt and cinnamon to boil in a medium saucepan.
Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in apple; cover. Let stand 5 minutes. Serves: 4
